My first camera was a small Minolta instamatic. I began to discover the importance of good composition rather than just taking snapshots and my love for photography quickly grew from there. I love nature and the images she paints, whether it be a glorious sunset over the mountains or the beauty that can be discovered in the small details found on the forest floor. I am not formerly trained and am learning all the time.

Besides photography, I have been a Special Education teacher for 29 years which has been another learning experience. I learn as much from my students as they do from me, as each of them have their own unique beauty to share to the world.
I also have a passion for music and have played keyboards and written music since I was a child.
Please browse through my captures and I hope you can see the beauty in the details that I discovered when taking them. I hope what you take away from this is to look for the beauty in your own world, no matter how small.

Thank You,
Lezlie Faunce
